Price of instruction for most classes is $15 or $20.  Copper enameling and George’s soldering classes have an extra $5 materials charge.  No supplies are included unless otherwise noted.  Viking Knit class includes weaving dowel and daisy.

Sunday April 13th 11am-3pm – Jewelry Making to Benefit Hayden Bailey hosted by Kathleen Ross

Come and make a piece of jewelry from a kit and donate your piece to the Hayden Strong Benefit which will be held May 10th at Three Sisters Park.  Hayden was in a severe automobile accident in October 2013 and subsequently lost both his lower legs and suffered from many other injuries.  Jewelry kits will be available to purchase at a discounted prices and anything you purchase to make any type of jewelry for this event will be 30% off.  All jewelry created and donated will be auctioned at the benefit.  Here are official benefit details:

Spend an evening learning to wet felt and creating a sweet little purse, tablet cover, checkbook cover, or phone case.   $25 for class including supplies.

Thursday April 17 at 6pm – Loom Woven Semi-Precious Stone Bracelet with Janet

Learn to use a simple loom to weave a gorgeous statement bracelet. Many different semi-precious stones to choose from and they are all 20% off this month (excluding the trunk show stones).  Class instruction is only $15.  A very similar bracelet sells in the Sundance catalog for hundreds of dollars! If you would like to buy a loom they are $12 or bring your own if you already have one.

Saturday April 19th – 1pm Kumihimo Class

Saturday April 19th at 1pm – Kumihimo with Annette -A new twist on Kumihimo.  Normally this technique uses cords and strung beads, but we will use fine link chain with the ancient art of kumihimo braiding to create this unique artisan bracelet.  Choose from matte gold, antiqued brass, antiqued copper, bright silver, and black chain for your one-of-a-kind creation!

Thursday April 24 at 6pm – Open Bead Night!

Bring a project to work on and a snack.  No instruction will be available this night, just a fun bead free-for-all where we can chat, snack, bead, and relax!


Saturday April 26 at 11am – Studs Amore with Kim Stice

You won’t find this bracelet in any magazine because this is an original stitched bracelet design using our new Czech glass two-holed pyramid beads. This class is appropriate for all skill levels, and this super cute bracelet is a great way to learn a simple stitching technique.   Dozens of colors to choose from! Class is $20 for instruction, and kits are just $16.00.

Saturday May 24 at 1pm – Aluminum Stamping with Letters

Bronwyn will teach you creative letter stamping techniques on aluminum ring, charms, and bracelet blanks.  Our aluminum is high-quality, food-safe 1100 grade aluminum, manufactured locally at Ear in the Envelope Studios in Peoria, IL.  This is not flimsy aluminum!  These blanks are super thick 14 gauge and great for stamping.  We have plenty of fun fonts and letter sets and we also have many creative design stamps such as swirls, numbers, hearts, dog bones, paw prints, birds, music notes, and many more!

Thursday June 5th at 6pm $10

If you don’t know how to stitch and have no interest in learning, Robin found a great way to use all the beautiful two holed beads in the store.  This is a beautiful little wrap bracelet and you can make it as long as you want with several different types and colors of two holed beads adding texture and interest…don’t miss it!

    I’m considering the class for The Checkmate Bracelet, which calls for Czech tiles with 2 holes. I have square tiles with only one hole in the narrow sides, and am wondering if there’s any way of incorporating these into something that will work for this class. I’m afraid one hole doesn’t allow for much stability. Thanks!

    I missed another great class, the March 21 stitched earrings. Maybe it will come around again… I am still interested in the the convertable crystal and lamp work necklace. I will keep watching
